I had not been able to give this one a good listen till now. But I love it. There's two things about this I love. 1-The build up with the doubled vocals ("make faces, I just stare") dropping out to the single guitar on the quiet F. 2-How the bridge is simple but seems to set such a different dynamic and tone. The song is stripped down, but I can hear so much there. And I did listen before I read your comment. I think it's really good.

I actually like this one a lot. I wasn't paying that much attention to the lyrics, but the melody, chords, harmonies and mood are evocative. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the 4-track days...
