I'm pretty sure I hate this one. But making magic happen every day is not what this whole thing is all about, is it? It's about punching the clock, getting it done and getting out of your own way. By that measure, and possibly no other, today was a success. One of the reasons this one may not land as I'd like it to is that it's really not about me - or it is - but from someone else's point of view. Which makes the bridge about 'giving you credit' kind of hilarious if you're into the whole deep-read thing. Anyway - it's a song. I did my job for the day.
I've officially come around on this one - it's a decent pop song w/ a good concept and decent lyrics. Ignore my pre-emptive judginess, please.
